Between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, it is customary to visit a flowing body of water and cast away our misdeeds by throwing bread crumbs into the water. The Ruach Hamidbar tradition is to go out  on Saguaro Lake on the Second Day of Rosh Hashanah for Tashlikh, Shofar, Mikvah & Healing Service.

Please bring bread for Tashlikh, sunscreen, water and snacks. Also, it is customary in the Sephardic & kabbalistic tradition to “jump in” and take a mikvah - holy immersion in the water.                                                  The mikvah is optional, but please bring a bathing suit and towel if you wishto participate.
